3. HOW DID LUCKY BECOME A WRITER?

3. Lucky’s father gave her a brand new dell computer to write. besides her grown children, Lucky's father, who died in 2017 on New Years day, encouraged her the most to write novels.  All through grade school  Lucky wrote stories and poems. She started writing seriously three years ago; and she wrote in the late evening and the wee hours of the morning – whenever she had a spare moment.

 

​4. WHERE DOES LUCKY GET HER STORY IDEAS?

4. Everywhere. In an airport, on a train, in a car, at a doctor's appointment. The storylines are everywhere.

5. WHAT AUTHORS DOES LUCKY ADMIRE?

5. Lucky admires many of the traditional and new Indie authors: Tom Clancy, Tony Hillerman, Janet Daily, Irish Winters, all the star trek books and Truman Capote are among her favorites. 

​6. WHAT IS LUCKY’S WRITING PROCESS? DOES SHE WRITE

EVERY DAY?

6. Lucky’s days are typical for being a writer. When she is finishing a novel she can write for 10-15 hours straight. Some days she’s so busy with other stuff that she only writes for an hour or two.

7. HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF LUCKY’S NOVELS ARE PUBLISHED IN MY LANGUAGE?

8. No. Lucky does not read story ideas submitted by others.

9. No. For legal reasons, Lucky does not read unpublished material.

10. DOES LUCKY HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR ASPIRING WRITERS?

10. Lucky says, “Write about what interests you.  Writing is hard. It’s easy to give up.

13. Lucky loves to meet and sign books for fans and does so a number of times each year at book signing events. If you cannot attend a book signing, visit here for purchasing signed copies of Lucky’s novels. Lucky cannot accommodate requests for her autograph at other times; she receives too many of them and wouldn’t have time to write if she fulfilled them all.

14. HOW MANY BOOKS MAY I BRING TO A BOOK SIGNING?

14. Please check with the store/ buisness hosting the event for its book signing policy.

 

​15. WHEN DOES THE WEBSITE POST UPDATED APPEARANCE DATES AND LOCATIONS?

15. We post appearance dates as soon as we’ve confirmed them. Lucky generally publishes a novel each spring (March or April) and fall (October or November), so if a tour is scheduled, it will likely take place during that time period. ​16. WHY HASN’T LUCKY VISITED MY CITY?

16. Lucky would love to visit every city where she has a fan, but publishing two and sometimes three novels each year means she must spend the bulk of her time writing and researching.

17. IS LUCKY WORKING ON ANY TELEVISION AND/OR MOVIE PROJECTS?

17. No. But you never know.

18. If you have a specific question or comment for Lucky, please use this form. Constructive criticism is welcome, but we delete mean-spirited and inappropriate correspondence before it reaches her.

 

​19. DOES LUCKY READ HER EMAIL?

19. Because of the sheer volume of mail Lucky receives, she cannot read it all.  Lucky does try to reply personally to all correspondence, but please be patient, as Lucky receives hundreds of emails each week. and FB Messenger messages.

23. THE CRAELIS CHRONICLES, THE CRAELIS; Dark Destiny, book three is due out soon. A new thriller, Edge of Night is due for release in a short while . Stay tuned!

 

​24. I HAVE A BOOK THAT’S MISSING/REPEATING PAGES; WHAT DO I DO?

24. Return the book to the store from which you bought it; the store will exchange the defective book for a new copy. You do not need a receipt to exchange a misprinted book. 

 

​25. WE ARE A PUBLIC LIBRARY INTERESTED IN ACQUIRING  EDITIONS OF LUCKY’S BOOKS. HOW MIGHT WE OBTAIN COPIES?

​26 .What’s next?

 Lucky is now back in the office finishing her spring 2023 novel – and preparing to write her fall 2023 novel. When does she sleep?  About four hours per night!
